20s-30s Arts & Crafts Table Lamp
This Lamp was in a sorry state when it came to me. The base had delaminated and the top section had obviously seen many different fittings over the years, all badly fitted. In Oak with Mahogany sections to the base and top with Mahogany diamond decorations to the column. It stands approx. 435mm tall with an octagonal base of approx. 135mm
Completely stripped down, the base was taken apart re-glued and reshaped. The top section was skimmed and the whole thing re-stained and re-polished. Reassembly included a short coupler to the top with an Antique brass BC (bayonet cap) bulb holder
An original and great example of a Lamp from the 20s-30s, the cable is Antique Gold braided flex which is approx. 2000mm long from the base. A black in-line switch and 3 amp plug are fitted and there is an internal cable grip. The base is baize covered and the Lamp is PAT (portable appliance test) tested, labelled and registered.
