Turned Oak Table Lamp

Acquired from an on line auction site this is a superb simple turned oak table lamp, which needed much attention to return it to its former glory.  Dating from the 1940s the wood was very dull and stained.

After being completely stripped down, the wood has been sympathetically cleaned and polished to high finish.

Description

The lamp has been fitted with an antique brass UK standard BC (bayonet cap) bulb holder. There is a cable grip to the base which has been baize covered.  The new cable is in antique gold and incorporates a black in line switch and black standard UK three pin plug, with a 3amp fuse.

The Lamp is tested and registered for electrical safety.
