An original Brass ‘Pullman’ Lamp from the iconic Luxury Pullman Railway coaches first introduced to British railways in 1874 standing approx. 340mm in height. This would’ve adorned the dining tables and has a hole in one foot where it would’ve been screwed to the table to prevent toppling over as the train was in motion.

Description

Completely stripped down, de-lacquered and rewired. There is a short coupler at the top to give height to the chosen shade and it is fitted with an SBC (small bayonet cap) brass bulb holder. The cable is Brown braided flex in keeping with the era, is approx. 2000mm in length and fitted with a black in-line switch and 3 amp plug.

The Lamp is cable gripped, PAT (portable appliance test) tested, labelled and registered.
