Description

Apart from the wooden ceiling pattress, which is new and stained to an antique finish, the lamp is all original including the shade screws which are often missing.  There is one tiny nibble of the bottom edge of the glass shade.  Fitted with an antique brass BC (bayonet cap) bulb holder.  The alloy shade carrier bears the legend “Gas Light” and there are no other markings.

The very top section shows evidence of previous wrench activity most probably occurring when it was in use as a gas lamp.

The supply cable has ‘boot lace’ crimps for easy connection.  The light has been tested for electrical safety, labelled, registered and should only be fitted to a suitably fused lighting circuit by a Qualified Electrician.
