‘Mouseman’ is the nickname given to English Furniture & Cabinet maker Robert Thompson form N. Yorkshire (1876 – 1955).  He considered that his profession was so badly paid that he and his colleagues were so poor they lived like church mice and from then on carved a mouse on almost every piece he made.  This is an English Oak Table Lamp probably dating to 1930s.  Now to set about bringing it back to its former glory…
